Masters of the 20th Century Avant-Garde Created during the first half of the 20th century, these works represent a society deeply immersed in the turbulent changes that the new century brought with it: apocalyptic wars, psychoanalysis, the invention of machines and new modes of transport that would forever change the identity of our cities and a profound faith in progress rooted in Modernity. The periods spent in Paris by each of these artists influenced his work immensely. The artistic movements that the new tendencies brought with them were shared for across borders and resulted in the first globalization of ideas.
