A centre for contemporary art, Michael Dunev Art Projects situated in a restored 17th century house in the mediaeval Catalan village of Torroella de Montgrí (Baix Empordā) on Spain's Costa Brava.

Founded in 1982 in San Francisco, California, the Michael Dunev Gallery has followed an exhibition programme dedicated to an international art of conscience with profound emotional content and lasting aesthetic value that transcends fashions and trends or regional politics.

Installed in the Empordà since the year 2000, we offer an important collection of contemporary art as well as a summer exhibition program featuring painting, sculpture and photography by the most relevant artists of their generation.

With a full painting studio available to our artists-in-residence, we include in our exhibition programme works produced by invited artsts. We also publish works on paper by selected artsts and with over twenty-five years' experience in the art world, we offer a personalized international art placement and consulting service.
